The Kettering City School District was presented with a 2012 SOAR Award for Significant Progress by Battelle for Kids at a special ceremony that was held in Columbus in early November. The Kettering City School District is among an elite group of just 10 districts in Ohio to be honored with this distinction, which recognizes exceptional growth in student learning for the 2011-2012 school year.
