The Kettering City School District will be moving to “Centralized Registration,” beginning with registration for the 2016-17 school year. What this means is that parents/guardians will no longer register their child(ren) at the school they will be attending. Instead, starting on July 5, parents/guardians will come to a central location – currently this will be the Board of Education Building, located at 3750 Far Hills Avenue – to register students for school.

Another big change with the registration process is that parents/guardians will be asked to make an appointment to register their child(ren.) “This will help to streamline the registration process and cut down on the wait time for our busy parents,” says Dan VonHandorf, director of Student Services for the district, adding, “Having our registration take place at a central location, instead of at each building, will also be a big time-saver for parents who have more than one child that they are registering.”
