Each year, Fairmont High School produces a show-stopping musical that brings audiences to their feet, and this year is no exception! Kettering Fairmont High School proudly presents the Broadway mega-hit, "Hairspray," April 14, 15 and 16.
Set in the civil rights movement of the 1960s, "Hairspray" follows the adventures of forward-thinking teenager, Tracy Turnblad, as she aspires to be the new featured dancer on the hit TV variety show, "The Corny Collins Show!" As she pushes for integration on the TV program, she finds herself in compromising situations that she must navigate out of as she pushes onward for black rights...all while trying to win the heart of her dream date, Link Larkin.
